Over the years, he has ministered in several parishes, including Little Bray, Killester, Clontarf (St. Anthony's), and Marino, contributing to the spiritual life of each community.

Since 1983, Father Churchill has served in the Marriage Tribunal and has been instrumental in guiding couples through ACCORD's pre-marriage courses. His commitment extends to his role as a Spiritual Director with the Legion of Mary, where he has supported and inspired members for many decades. Alongside his pastoral work, Father Churchill nurtures a deep passion for science and astronomy, reflecting a harmonious blend of faith and intellectual curiosity.
